Ideal for high-temperature masking, Kapton tapes can be used to protect printed circuit boards during soldering, as release surfaces during high-temperature fabrication, and for electrical insulation on transformers, motors, coils, and more. Made with extremely strong polyimide film, Kapton tapes demonstrate superior resistance to tears, abrasions, acids, oils, solvents, age stains, and water.

The adhesive is pressure-sensitive, which offers a clean, residue-free removal.
